This course is designed to provide a broad introduction to the study of human growth and development from conception to death. Students are expected to gain knowledge of the definitions, major issues/controversies and research methods/strategies in developmental psychology. In the second part, theories of development are examined to give a depth into the theoretical influences and perspectives in human development
